I am so excited at the opportunity to partner up with No Kid Hungry to host a #momsnightout. No Kid Hungry has one priority: to end child hunger in America. By participating in Dine Out – an intiative bringing awareness that right here in our own country so many children are not guaranteed the food they need. In fact, 16 million of them. And YOU can help!
Dine Out is a national initiative where hundreds of restaurants across the country unite to raise funds for the 1 in 5 kids suffering from hunger by offering special promotions ($1 burgers, half price lunch, etc.) in return for donations. There are over a thousand restaurants participating in the initiative such as IHOP, Denny’s, Jack in the Box, and more. Click here to find one near you!
Join me next Thursday, September 22nd, at 7pm at The Habit in El Segundo for a #momsnightout. As a mom myself my heart just breaks thinking about children who cannot count on a meal. I’m so glad to host a Dine Out initiative and meet you to help out those in need!!!
No Kid Hungry has also made a generous offering for all its participants. This includes social media (tag me in your posts!) and in person the night of the event. The winner will be able to pick something out up to $500 in value that will be purchased for their child’s school! It can be whatever the school needs – books, technology, games, school supplies – so long as it can ship straight to the school. The contest will go on for the remainder of September. You can post a picture or your own #dineout experience and tag me @askleahrenee (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter) for an entry to win (I must be tagged in order to see!). Dine out with family, friends, or on your own (that’s still a #momsnightout to me!).
Together we can make a change and help this amazing organization give to those children less fortunate!
